Johnny is an awarding-winning cinematographer who lives in Canada, but works all over the globe.
He has worked on many well- known films, TV series, music videos, commercials, and live shows.
2018 highlights included working on a new Netflix show called 'VWARS', working in NewFoundland on 'Frontier', shooting a funny horror film 'Killer High', shooting a great series called 'Departure', getting some days on 'Star Trek', and Dp'ing a commercial for Slate CryptoCurrency.
2017 highlights included working with Jerry O'Connell on the TV series 'Carter', shooting the excellent film 'Strange But True', working on the TV series 'Dark Matter' , and working with Russell Peters on 'The Indian Detective'.
2016 highlights included working 2nd unit on 'American Gods', shooting the pilot for 'Designated Survivior', the excellent feature film KIN with James Franco, getting funny with 'Kim's Convenience', the scary IT movie, Disney's 'The Swap'. and DP'ing commercials for New Balance, Ford, and Snapple.
2015 highlights included DP 'ing a feature in Italy called 'Road to the Lemon Grove', shooting the alien feature 'Rupture', working on the TV series 'Bitten', and getting days on 'The Strain', and 'Suicide Squad', as well as a series of spots for Solarship that we shot in Uganda, and the Congo.
2014 highlights included shooting in Jordan on the war film 'Hyena Road', working with Laurence Fishburne on the feature film 'Standoff', and doing some days on 'The Strain' and 'Beeba Boys'. I also went to Mexico for a TV series 'Grand Benders' , which was fun.
2013 highlights included 2nd unit shooting on 'Robocop', shooting VFX on 'Total Recall', and then off to Nigeria to DP an action film 'Render to Caesar'.
2012 highlights included shooting for the US Army, shooting webisodes for 'Crash and Burn', and DP'ing a Discovery US show called 'Beyond Survival with Les Stroud' of Survivorman fame.
His cinematography has been viewed on many screens as well as tens of millions of times on YouTube, and other viewing sites .
Johnny works in all formats, and has expert knowledge of all cameras, and editing platforms.
